FCI Syllabus for Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Assistant Grade-II (Hindi, Typist Hindi ) and Assistant Grade-III (General, Accounts, Technical, Depot) is described below. You should carefully read this article . FCI Exam Pattern is different for Different Post. For some post, there is only one exam, for some post two exams. FCI Exam Pattern 2015 :

FCI Exam will be conducted for 4 papers, that is Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-II and Paper-IV. But all these four paper is not compulsory of all posts. According to the post applied, the exam paper will be different. Here you can see the post wise exam paper.

  • Only Paper- I : AG-III (General, Depot), AG-II (Hindi Typist)
  • Both Paper-I and Paper-II : Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), AG-III (Accounts, Technical)
  • Both Paper-III and Paper-IV : AG-II (Hindi)

Time duration of each paper is 90 minutes. All these exam will be held in a single day and single sitting. Paper-(I,II,III, IV) questions paper is different for different for different posts.

 

FCI Syllabus Assistant Grade III & II Junior Engineer

Here the detail syllabus for each paper of FCI Recruitment Exam is given. Candidates should read the syllabus which is applicable for him. Remember that, the Paper-II syllabus for different posts is different.

Paper-I Syllabus :-

[For AG-III (General, Depot), Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ), AG-III (Accounts, Technical)]
In this paper 120 multiple choice questions will be asked from the below given chapters

  • General Aptitude
  • Reasoning,
  • Data Analysis,
  • English Language,
  • Computer Proficiency,
  • General Awareness,
  • General Intelligence,
  • Current Events,
  • Numerical Ability,
  • Data Interpretation

Paper-II Syllabus :-

a. Paper-II Syllabus for Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, )

120 Multiple Choice Questions on Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering for to assess the post specific technical knowledge of relevant stream.

b. Paper-II Syllabus for [Assistant Grade-III (Accounts)]
In this paper 120 MCQ will be set from Commerce particularly General Accounting and Finance to assess the post specific technical knowledge of relevant stream.

c. Paper-II Syllabus for [Assistant Grade-III (Technical)]
120 Multiple Choice Questions on Biological Sciences to assess the post specific technical knowledge of relevant stream.

Paper-III Syllabus :-

 For Assistant Grade-II (Hindi, Typist Hindi ) 

  • In this paper, the 120 MCQ will be asked from the below given chapters
  • General Hindi,
  • General English,
  • General Awareness,
  • General Intelligence
  • Computer Knowledge

Paper-IV Syllabus :-

a. Paper-IV syllabus for Assistant Grade-II (Hindi)
Translation of 2 Passages, one each from Hindi to English and vice-versa and two essays each in Hindi & English will be set to analyze the Hindi knowledge of the candidates.

b. Paper-IV Syllabus for Assistant Grade-II (Hindi Typist)
If a “Hindi Typist “candidate will qualify the Paper-III Exam, then he will be allowed to appera a skill test, this is the Paper-IV of Hindi Typist post.

Selection Procedure :

The merit list of the candidates for each post will be determined according the below mentioned procedure.

Post : AG-III (General, Depot)
Merit of Written Test for [AG-III (General, Depot) ] will be decided on the basis of mark secured in Paper – I

Post : JE (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ), AG-III (Accounts, Technical)
Merit of Written Test for [Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ), AG-III (Accounts, Technical)] will be decided on Paper – I & post specific Paper – II.

Post : AG-II (Hindi)

  • AG-II (Hindi) candidates will be shortlisted for evaluation of Paper-IV, based on their mark secured in Paper – III, then their Paper – IV will be evaluated.
  • There will be a minimum qualifying marks for Paper-IV, only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks will be considered for final selection.
  • Final selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Paper – III and Paper – IV , subject to securing the minimum qualifying marks in paper IV.

Post : AG-II Typist (Hindi)
Typist (Hindi) candidates will be shortlisted for Skill test based on their Paper-III mark. The final merit for the post of Typist (Hindi) will be decided on the basis of Paper-III subject to qualifying the Skill Test.
