Odisha BEd Entrance Syllabus & Exam Pattern

TE & SCERT, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha conducts the BEd  Entrance Examination every year to determine the eligibility of the students to get admission in the B.Ed colleges all over Odisha. After completing the 2 years B.Ed  (Bachelor in Education) course, a students will be eligible to be a teacher in High School ( Class VIII to X). Here we have described the full Odisha BEd Entrance Syllabus & Exam Pattern and question pattern . B.Ed entrance will be conducted online from this year 2018. B.Ed entrance question paper has TWO section, that is Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-II has Two Set. One for Arts stream and another for Science stream. You have to choose the Set according to your stream.

Odisha BEd Entrance Exam Pattern:

1. 90Multiple Choice Questions will be asked
2. Full Mark of The Exam is 90 Marks.
3. 1 Mark for Each CORRECT answer and -0.25 Mark for Each WRONG Answer.
4. Time Duration Is 1:30 Hour.

Odsha B.Ed Entrance Question has two paper, that is Paper-I and Paper-II.

Paper I : is compulsory for all the candidates (both Arts and Science group). It would consist of Language (English), General Awareness, Reasoning and Teaching Aptitude. This Section shall be of 30 marks. There will be 30 questions. Each question carries one (01) mark. All Questions shall be of multiple choice types.

Paper II shall be of 60 marks. There are two sections. The candidates have to select any one section and shall have to answer all the questions of that particular section. Section A is meant for Arts Group. The candidates who select the Arts Group shall have to answer all the questions from General English, Odia, Geography, History and Political Science. The candidates selecting the Science Group in Section B shall have to answer all the questions from Physical Science, Bio-Science and Mathematics. Each question carries one mark. All the questions are of multiple choice types.

 

Paper I :  (Compulsory for all candidates) : 30 Marks 

1. General English  :  10 Qns : 10 Mark

2. Education and General Awareness : 05 Qns : 05 Mark

3. Reasoning  : 05 Qns : 05 Mark

4. Teaching Aptitude   : 10 Qns : 10 Mark

Paper II :  (Optional)  : 60 Marks

Education & General Awareness : Everyday science, Political system and happenings, General information, Educational committees and commissions, Educational policies and initiatives, Agencies working for education

Reasoning : Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Teaching Aptitude : Solving problem of educational context, managing classroom and learning, Learner and learning related issues, goals of education, role of various agencies and organization in management of education, issuing related to teaching-learning strategies.

Negative Marking : The performance of the candidates shall be evaluated both on the basis of correct and incorrect responses recorded on the OMR sheet. For every incorrect response, 0.25 mark shall be deducted from the marks secured by the candidate for correct response
