OSSC Auditor Co-Operative Audit Syllabus Exam Pattern is described below in details. Odisha Staff Selection Commission is going to conduct the written test examination for the recruitment of Auditor under Co-Operative Audit. The recruitment process consists of FOUR Steps, that is Preliminary Examination, Main Written Exam, Practical Test and Viva Voce Test. The detail syllabus and exam pattern of Odisha SSC Auditor is described below.

OSSC Auditor Co-Operative Audit  Exam Pattern :

If large number of candidates will apply for the post of Auditor, then a Preliminary written examination will be held to shortlist the candidates. Here is the exam pattern.

Plan of examination consists of following stages.

A. Preliminary examination Qualifying

B. Main written Examination 200

  • Pa per-1 : Mathematics & General Studies :100 Marks : 1:30 hours
  • Paper-II  : General English : 50 Marks 1 hour
  • Paper-III : Odia Language : 50 Marks : 1 hour

C. Computer Practical Test 50

D. Viva-voce test 25

Total 275

A. Preliminary Exam Syllabus:

If there will be a large number of applicants a preliminary test of 100 marks of 1:30 hours duration in General Awareness will be held to short list the candidates for the Main written examination. The question will be of objective type with multiple choices of answers. There shall be 100 questions on History, Geography, Arithmetic, Socio-Economic Development, Indian Policy, General Science, current affairs, reasoning etc. The OMR Answer sheet will be used in the examination. The question shall be to test the candidates knowledge on General studies as expected from a Graduate. There will be a negative marking @ of 0.25 per wrong answer. The candidates numbering about 15 times in each category will be short listed for Main written examination on the basis of their performance in the preliminary examination.

B. Main Written Examination.

The written examination shall be of three papers as follows. The question will be of objective type with multiple choices of answers in Mathematics and General Studies carrying a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer. The General English & Odia Language paper will be of descriptive type.

1. Paper-I, Mathematics & General Studies

The questions on Mathematics will be on Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics & Trigonometry of the standard prescribed for HSC Examination.

The question on General Studies will relate to Indian history, Economics, Geography, Major events in world history, General Science awareness, Environmental issue. Human Right issues. Basic knowledge in computer application. Current events. Literature. Art & Culture of Odisha book keeping, Accountancy and etc.

The questions will be of objective type with multiple choice answers to be answered in OMR answer sheet. There will be a negative marking @ of 0.25 per wrong answer.

2. Paper-I, General English:

The questions in this paper will comprise of short essay writing, report and application writing, correct usages, comprehension, and précis writing. Translation of a passage of Odia into English etc. This paper will be of descriptive type to be answered in the question-cum-answer booklet.

Paper-II. Odia Language:

The questions in this paper will comprise of short essay writing, report and application writing, correct usages, grammer. Translation of a passage of English to Odia etc. This paper will be of descriptive type to be answered in the question-cum-answer booklet

C. Practical Skill Test:-

On the basis of performance in main written examination candidates numbering about 3 times of the vacancy from each category will be shortlisted for appearing the computer skill test. The computer practical test of 50 marks shall cover the following.

(a) Basic Knowledge & skills of computer (b) Internet & E mail,(c) M.S office. or as prescribed for OS-CIT course as decided by the Govt. in Higher Education . The candidate who obtains minimum 15 marks or more shall be called to appear the viva-voce test.

D. Viva voce Test-

There shall be a viva-voce test carrying 25 marks.
