Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will conducts the Auditor Co-Operative Audit Examination . The Exam will be conducted in 3 stages. If more number of candidates will applied for the post then an extra Preliminary examination (qualifying nature) will be conducted other wise there will be no Preliminary Exam. OSSC Auditor Exam Pattern :
Odisha SSC Auditor Co-Operative Audit Exam has 3 Phase. That is Main written Examination, Computer Test then Viva Voce. But if the number of candidates applied for the post is large, then an extra phase that is Preliminary Examination will be held to shortlist the candidates for the Main written examination. The Details exam pattern is as follows.
(a) Preliminary examination (General Knowledge ) : 100 Marks Time : 1 hour
(b) Main Written Examination :
- Paper I –English : 100 Marks Time : 2 Hour
- Paper II –Arithmetic : 100 Marks Time : 1:30 Hour
- Paper III–General Knowledge : 100 Marks Time : 1:30 hour
Total————————-300 Marks
(c) Computer Test : 50 Marks
(d) Viva-Voce Test : 35 Marks
Odisha SSC Auditor Syllabus
a ) Preliminary examination (General Knowledge ) :
If the number of candidates applied is large, a preliminary test of 100 marks of 1 hour duration in General Awareness will be held to short list the candidates for the main written examination. The questions of Preliminary Exam will be of objective type with multiple choices of answers. The OMR answer sheet will be used in the examination. The question shall test the candidates General Knowledge as expected from a Graduate. The candidates numbering about 15 times in each category will be short listed for Main written examination on the basis of performance in the preliminary examination.
(b)-Main Written Examination
The Main written examination will comprise if the following three papers as described below.
Paper-1:- English- (2 hours duration)
The standard required for the candidates in English shall be equivalent to +3 Degree Examination. The question will comprise of
- An essay : 30 marks,
- A letter or application : 20 marks,
- One odia passage to be translated into English : 15 marks,
- One English passage to be translated into Odia : 15 marks,
- Precis writing in English : 20 marks.
- Tota : -100marks
Paper- II – Arithmetic- (1:30 hours duration)
The question asked in paper-II will be of Matriculation standard (in OMR sheet)
The question will comprise of the following chapters
- Vulgar fraction and decimal
- H.C.F and L.C.M
- Simple and compound interest
- Profit and loss
- Mixture
- Ratio and proportion
- Partnership
- Average
- Time & work
- Time and distance
Paper-Ill- General knowledge-(1:30 hours duration)
Knowledge of current events and such other matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected from an educated person.
Qualifying Mark : The candidates who will secure minimum 35% in each paper will be called for practical skill test in computer at the ratio of 10 candidate for one post.
(c)- Computer test (Practical)-
- Basic knowledge in computer will consist of
- Computer fundamentals,
- M. (Windows),
- M.S (Office),
- Word processing,
- Spread Sheets (M.S. Excel)
- Presentation Knowledge (M.S. Power Point),
- M.S. Access,
- Website searching and browsing ,
- E-mail checking / sending and down loading
- Accounts programming.
Qualifying Mark : The cut-off marks for qualifying Computer Practical Test shall be 40%.
(d) Viva Voce test
The viva voce mark is 35 marks. The candidates who qualify in the computer practical test and based on the performance in the English, Arithmetic and G.K candidates numbering up to 3 times the number of vacancies in the respective categories in order of merit will be called for viva voce test.
