BPUT Ph.D Entrace Syllabus and Exam Pattern is described below in details. The candidates those want to take admission into Ph.D programme in Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela have to qualify the Ph.D Entrance 2016 Exam conducted by BPUT. The Entrance Exam Pattern contains two sections viz Part-A and Part-B. Part-A is General Aptitude and Part-B is Subject Aptitude. Each section contains 50 number of questions, each questions carries 2 marks. A candidates have to score 50 marks from each section, in order to qualify the examination. Read below for full details.

BPUT Ph.D Entrance Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Part – A

(General Aptitude : 1 Hour duration)

  1. Consists of 50 questions, MCQ type.
  2. Each question shall carry 2 marks
  3. For every wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
  4. Course contents (a) General English, (b) Current affairs (c) Reasoning (Verbal & Non¬verbal) (d) Research aptitude (e) Quantitative aptitude.
  5. Candidates shall have to score 50 marks to qualify Part – A.

Part – B

Subject Aptitude : 1 Hour duration

  1. Consists of 50 questions, MCQ type.
  2. Each question shall carry 2 marks
  3. For every wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
  4. Candidates shall have to score 50 marks to qualify Part-B.
